Facebook releases v2 of it’s iPhone Application
Facebook releases v2 of it’s iPhone application just in time to hit their promised end of September deadline. This is Facebook’s second major release of the application for the iPhone and with it comes a new interface and loads of new features. It has petty much everything standard Facebook has but on your mobile!
So What’s New?
Primarily the News Feed now acts in exactly the same way as the standard site; displaying new posts, relationship & photo updates and allows comments to be made on any news updates or edit the feed to only update you on what your interested in.
One of the major leaps is all the photo-orientated functionality, you can now not only upload new photos, but also add tags, captions and posting to Walls.
They have also added the ability to search for people and search your inbox and now once you find the person your looking for you can send them a friend request .
The most significant improvement but not immediately obvious is the stability and efficiency which will become increasingly obvious the more you use the app.
Here are Some screen shots:

Summary
The interface is clean, easy to navigate, logical and all the functionality is easy to access, I can’t see there being as much controversy over this new version as there was, & still is, over the new standard version!
Also as the application is free, it is thoroughly worthwhile either upgrading or if you didn’t have the 1st version then installing for the first time.
It’s easy to get the new version just Click Here [iTunes Link]
(Be Aware: Apparently Facebook might be struggenling to keep up with demand for the new version, which might prevent some useres being able to get access. So if you can live without Facebook at your side for a few days it might be worth waiting a day or two to upgrade.)
