We're looking for an experienced PHP Developer to be responsible for the technical delivery of multiple high specification e-commerce websites using the Magento e-commerce software platform for a range of local, national and international businesses.

The Company:
NetInsight is a highly experienced e-commerce Digital Agency that provides advice and guidance to companies wishing to establish or develop their e-commerce business. They offer consultancy, detailed technical specification, graphic design, development and conversion rate optimisation services for their clients. Established in 2007 the business has an established client list and is now set to embark on a strong period of growth. The project will support this growth, whilst ensuring the capacity increases and the quality of service remains exceptional.

Objectives:
• Work with the Operations Manager and Senior Developer to scope projects and work requests.
• Take over the responsibility for all data manipulation covering csv files of product/category data and shipping matrix spreadsheets.
• Take over the responsibility for all admin configurable elements within the platforms used to deliver the correct front end outputs e.g. TAX, shipping, payment gateways, stock rules etc….
• Take ownership of the development of their responsibilities within all projects and be responsible for their technical delivery
• Develop and extend functions for e-commerce sites using Magento e-commerce software platform, integrating CMS platforms such as WordPress and integrating with back office system (EPOS, ERP etc..)

Nature of work undertaken:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented and ambitious graduate to join and develop NetInsight’s highly professional team and work alongside the Operations Manager and Senior Developer. NetInsight work with clients who demand the best on a technical level and from graphic design, usability and optimisation. Therefore you will be responsible for working with our graphic design and conversion rate optimisation team converting all their work onto specific platforms ensuring that all technical development is implemented to equally high standards. As part of a growing company, there will be lots of opportunity for the right candidate to progress their career within the business.

Essential Requirements:
• Commercial programming experience
• A good understanding of the following HTML/PHP5/CSS/JavaScript/XML/Ajax/ MySQL
• Experience of developing on Magento and Wordpress
• Ability to quickly and effectively manipulate CSV and Excel spreadsheets.
• Excellent organisation, time-management and communication skills

Desirable Requirements:
• Zend Framework Experience
• Experience of using Photoshop/Flash
• Experience of working in an agency as part of a team
• Experience developing on Magento, WordPress, API’s and other web services
• Version Control (SVN, GTN etc…)
• Linux Server Administration
• Design Patterns (MVC etc)
